Bio

Joe Devine is an Independent solo artist and session Guitarist from London, UK. Having spent almost 20 years playing a huge range of different genres for numerous different artists and bands, he is now taking the leap into producing his own body of work in the hope of creating and capturing his own personal sound that fuses all aspects of his eclectic influences.

Joe’s career as a session musician has led him to perform across the UK, Europe, America & Canada with a multitude of different artists as well as at festivals and venues across the UK to audiences in excess of 14,000. In addition to his solo project, he continues to work for a number of other Artists including Myles Smith and Harry Marshall both live and in the studio.

With the release of “One Foot Forward” Joe makes his first step in the journey of discovering and building his own unique sound. This is clear from the outset of this first single; from both the melodic electric guitar influenced by years of listening to the likes of Plini, Jakub Zytecki and Nick Johnston, backed by DADGAD acoustic guitar indicative of a lifetime of playing traditional Irish music. Throughout his career as a session musician Joe has prided himself on his ability to provide the vision and sound the Artist in question is after, However this step into composition has been his opportunity to incorporate and fuse all sides of his playing, with the aim of producing a body of work that is honestly and uniquely him.
